Supporting Teaching and Learning Case Study

The qualification has been fantastic. My assessor has been marvellous, extremely professional, relaxed and open and very approachable. After completing my level 2 with Campus Training and feeling so supported by them, I wanted to do my level 3. Doing this qualification has really made me question myself, my role and highlights situations involving problems, which I now have the knowledge to deal with. You don’t realise how much influence you have on the children and doing this qualification makes you very aware of that.

The Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification was very relevant to my job role, I had the confidence to cover classes when the teacher was not available and I am now a supply teacher at the school. I would really like to become an INA, and would love to do some more training, perhaps eventually my HLTA.

My assessor and Campus Training have been really good. I have been fully supported by my assessor and I am chuffed to have done the Level 3 so quickly. I have enjoyed every moment.

Campus Training has had a huge impact in our school. I now have office staff, teaching assistants and several parents who have gained NVQ qualifications. This has built confidence, given the school excellent succession opportunities and a highly skilled staff, who offer the best to the children in our care. The tutor comes in regularly and has become an important person and friendly, supportive face in our school. I highly recommend the service given by Campus Training, which was recently recognised in our Outstanding Ofsted in October, 2009.
