Cover Supervision Level 3 Certificate

This qualification is aimed at those undertaking the new role of Cover Supervisor in schools. Candidates moving from one role to the other will be able to demonstrate competence in the new role through the achievement of credit from specified additional units.

While this qualification includes some units that are also in the Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Certificate, it omits those that are about actively advancing pupils' learning and includes a unit on providing cover to reflect the differences between the cover supervisor and teaching assistant roles.

You will be assigned a tutor/ assessor who will give you support and guidance throughout your qualification. All of our assessors are fully trained and highly qualified to meet your needs. Your assessor will judge evidence of your performance, knowledge and understanding against the units you have chosen. Remember this is not a test, you will be underpinning the existing knowledge of the job you already do.

Training for this level will take place in the workplace.
