Level 2 is designed to assess competence, which involves a significant range of varied work activities, some of which will be complex and non-routine. Individuals will be expected to take personal responsibility for some of their work, as well as showing an ability to work with others in a team.

Food & Drink Manufacturing Operations Level 3
City & Guilds

Level 3 has been designed to be flexible, so that it fits the role of supervisor, as well as those who undertake technically complex integrated manufacturing operations, but who may not have line managerial responsibilities. The qualification requires competence in a broad range of varied work activities, most of which are complex and non-routine. At this level, employees will be used to working with a minimum of supervision, either individually or as a member of a team. Supervision of the work of others could be part of the role.
