Supporting Teaching and LearningSupporting Teaching and Learning STL Level 2 The Supporting Teaching and Learning (STL) Qualification is designed to reflect the activities of those who directly support teaching and learning within schools. The Level 2 NVQ can be used by volunteer workers within the school, full or part time employees. It is suitable for candidates who may be new to the occupation, and wish to gain more experience. The NVQ is suitable for those working with pupils of any age in primary, secondary or special schools. Read more >> Supporting Teaching and Learning STL Level 3 This NVQ is designed to reflect the work of candidates who are experienced teaching assistants and/or whose job role covers a varied range of responsibilities. The NVQ is suitable for candidates working with pupils of any age in primary, secondary or special schools. To qualify for Level 3 you must have been working within a school environment for more than 15 months, and have a broad range of experience.
